Roles and responsibilities
- Review and/or prepare Canadian tax returns for individuals, corporations and trusts
- Review and/or prepare requests for information and notices of assessment and follow up with authorities
- Assist clients with audits by tax authorities
- Prepare tax planning memos
- Collaborate in training and information sharing with tax and assurance colleagues
- Present clients with results of work performed
- Act as intermediary between government authorities and clients
- Review files prepared by tax specialists
- Write tax opinions
- Make presentations to groups of clients and business people
- All other related tasks.
- Bachelor's degree or other relevant training
- Master's degree in taxation
- Knowledge of MS Office software (Excel, Word) as well as Taxnet Pro, TaxPrep tax research software (an asset)
- A flexible 37.5-hour week and Friday afternoons off
- A hybrid teleworking policy
