What you'll accomplish
¬ Coordinate and delegate work to professionals when carrying out mandates
¬ Guide and supervise staff to achieve project objectives
¬ Plan, organize and coordinate team work
¬ May be called upon to review more complex files, and to review less complex files on a summary basis.
¬ Prepare and review the final product (financial statements, taxes, etc.), and submit financial statements to the partner for final approval.
¬ Analyze and present financial statements to clients
¬ May be required to take on customer management responsibilities
¬ Ensure ongoing communication and follow-up with customers
¬ Lead customers through more complex requests and special files
¬ Assume responsibilities related to the supervision and management of assigned resources (coaching, evaluations, etc.)
¬ Determine and monitor objectives and planning for files.
¬ Draw up time and fee budgets, and bill accordingly
¬ Prepare quotations and invoices in accordance with established policies
¬ Use sound judgment to analyze and resolve unusual situations
¬ Plan and carry out special projects
¬ Contribute to the development of staff knowledge and skills
¬ Participate actively in business development and in promoting the firm in the community, both with prospects and in the development of a new clientele.
¬ Ensure risk management (firm, professional and other legal standards)
¬ Collaborate and ensure quality control of work performed
¬ Bachelor's degree in accounting
¬ CPA designation
¬ Acomba software skills an asset
¬ An innate sense of autonomy and sharp professional judgment
¬ Chameleon-like adaptability
¬ Theart of working on several projects at the same time
