Located in Alma, our client, Ausime Énergie, develops and operates renewable energy projects. Ausime Énergie operates in the organic matter recovery and renewable natural gas (RNG) production sector, and is looking for an experienced ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN to support its operational growth at its biogas plants.

YOUR CONTRIBUTION
Under the supervision of General Management, the Accounting Technician is responsible for all of the company's accounting tasks. More specifically, the incumbent will be entrusted with the following responsibilities:
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, and monitor invoicing
  • Perform bank reconciliations and monthly financial statements
  • Remit payroll deductions, pension plan deductions, GST and QST tax returns, etc.
  • Process weekly payrolls and update employee records (absences, vacation, sick leave, statutory holidays, deductions, salary increases, etc.).
  • Prepare year-end documentation for external accountant.
  • Occasionally perform administrative or other job-related tasks (review reports, update social network content, etc.).
YOUR PROFILE
To succeed in this position, and to successfully reconcile the face-to-face and telecommuting options offered, you'll need to stand out for your autonomy, sense of responsibility, organizational skills and thoroughness. In addition, you must meet the following requirements:
  • A college diploma (DEC) in accounting.
  • At least five (5) years' experience in a similar position.
  • Mastery of Office Suite tools
  • Demonstrate functional English and general knowledge of the construction industry (assets)
